About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 15:00 - 03:00 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the field of specialty; will consider 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license. License: Registered Nurse License required. Certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS, NIH ORE, Red Cross Certifications, TNCC. Must-Have: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Description: The Emergency Department requires a highly trained team to meet the needs of the community. The team consists of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. The Emergency Department treats more than 60,000 patients per year. The nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:1 for critical and trauma patients to 1:3-4 for all other patients. Education required includes an Associate degree in nursing. Certifications must be current as specified. Willingness to float to other units and hospitals is necessary. Availability for holidays and every other weekend is required.
