Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time Position

We are seeking a competent Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate demonstrates independence, an awareness of clinical complexities, and effective management of patient care. This position requires both routine and complex care delivery, with a focus on long-range goals and strategic planning through the nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and timely.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to other care providers as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS certification required (AHA only).
• Active RN license in the state of New Mexico or compact license.

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring a 4-day work week, 10 hours per day.
