Schedule: Full time

Shift: Day (United States of America)

Job Description:

• Requires scheduling flexibility (days/evenings/weekends), with majority dayshift. No Holidays
• IBCLC certification required
• Assesses and evaluates breastfeeding effectiveness of Mother/Baby dyads while valuing Family Centered Care concepts.
• Documents effectively in a timely manner, allowing for continuity of care with co-workers.
• Functions effectively with fluctuating patient census, prioritizing and managing day-to-day work.
• Provides breastfeeding plans for discharge.
• Advises and recommends standards of care regarding management of breastfeeding problems using extensive breastfeeding knowledge.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing [Required]
• Ability to use Interpreter service appropriately [Required]
• Additional languages preferred, especially Spanish [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 2+ years in maternal/child nursing role including breastfeeding support [Required]
• 3+ years in maternal/child nursing role including breastfeeding support [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Preferred]
• IBCLC certification (Required)

Pay Range: $31.55 $58.69
