Growing together.The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe and professional IV therapy for patients on specialty medications that treat neurological, rheumatologic, gastroenterological, and immunological disorders. This role will be highly involved in helping to implementing and support best clinical practices for our clinic, patients, and referral sources.Locations:Casa Grande Flexcare Infusion 520 N Camino Mercado, Ste 2Casa Grande, AZ 85122Chandler Flexcare Infusion 312 North Alma School Rd. Ste 10Chandler, AZ 85224Hours:Weekdays - 8:00 AM - 4:00 PMPrimary Responsibilities:Provides direct patient care in the form of evaluating and documenting patient clinical assessments and IV therapy as aligned with company, federal and state policies for both pediatric and adult patientsPrepares/compounds sterile admixtures for immediate use per FDA package insert and FlexCare clinical protocolCommunicates with physicians and other health care providers on clinical services related issuesAdministers necessary medications as necessary to mitigate acute infusion reactions, under the supervision of the infusion center Managing Nurse PractitionerAdministers prescribed intravenous and subcutaneous medications and biologics, adhering to prescriber order and applicable FDA dosing parametersEvaluates the effectiveness of the health care process (self, systems, environment, and instrumentation) in meeting clinical outcomesDemonstrates awareness of legal issues in all aspects of patient care and clinical operations functioningProvides infusion therapy under the scope of FlexCare policies, procedures and clinical drug protocols to ensure coordination and safe delivery of careAssists the clinical team in the entry, review and validation of prescriber orders received by faxed referral or verbal orderAssists in the review of lab work drawn onsite, and the reporting of any critical values to the referring providerAssists in the ongoing review of clinical protocols for all infusible/injectables provided by FlexCare to maintain clinical competencyAssures that all patient related documentation, and clinical reports are accurately completed, submitted and/or filed in a timely manner, according to internal and external regulatory requirements and in support of the billing processParticipates in department Quality Assurance activities as requestedSupervisory Responsibility:This role has no supervisory requirementsCompetency Statements:Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieves results with little oversightDiligently attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasksGets along and interacts positively with co-workers and others; understands and relates to othersEarns others' trust and respect through consistent honesty and professionalism in all interactionsUses tools, machines, and/or vehicles to complete the assigned workWork Environment:This job operates in a medical, office setting. Typical working hours are determined by each location, though shifts and hours may vary based on business needs. Exempt employees should have the flexibility to be on-call and available, as needed, to ensure continuity of care and supportRequired Qualifications:Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Unrestricted RN license in the state of employmentBLS required upon hireONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Administration Certification, required within 90 days of hire for full-time hires3+ years Infusion Therapy with experience in the management of patients on specialty medications (i.e., Immunoglobulin, biologics); solid IV access skillsUnrestricted motor vehicle licensePreferred Qualifications:5+ years of Infusion therapy experienceAbility to accomplish any and all duties with little to no assistancePay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29 - $52 per hour based on full-time employment.
