The Fisher College of Business seeks a dynamic and experienced professional to teach courses in Prompt Engineering and Data Mining, equipping students and professionals with practical skills to leverage artificial intelligence for business impact. This is a part-time position (56.26% FTE) with teaching responsibilities across both for-credit courses and open-enrollment executive education courses. We seek candidates with experience that span artificial intelligence (AI), data strategy, and enterprise technology implementation, helping organizations become data-driven, customer-centric, and operationally efficient.

Primary responsibilities may include teaching courses in multiple modalities (in-class, online, hybrid) throughout the academic year; curriculum/syllabus design, content and materials development and applied learning activities. The selected candidate(s) will be expected to complete activities that support the development and teaching of undergraduate and/or graduate students, depending on chosen candidate's degree certification.

In person classes are taught on the University's main campus in Columbus, Ohio.

Education and experience requirements:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in business or a related area.
  • Experience teaching in an executive education or adult learning environment
  • Extensive practical experience in technology consulting and AI solutioning.
  • Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining corporate relationships.

The Fisher College of Business has a rich research tradition and engages through the college and the Graduate School in programs at the undergraduate, master and doctoral levels. The nationally ranked Fisher College of Business is one of 15 colleges within the university, with approximately 9,000 undergraduate and 1,200 graduate students.

The mission of the Operations and Business Analytics department is to provide world class research, teaching and outreach in all areas of operations, purchasing and supply chain management. The department offers core courses in operations management, data analysis and business analytics to all of Fisher's undergraduate and graduate students, as well as electives in various aspects of the discipline.
