Ferrosource Fabricators is a growing rebar fabrication and reinforcing steel supplier headquartered out of our Essington, Pennsylvania fabrication facility, just outside Philadelphia. We provide fabricated reinforcing steel, fully assembled rebar cages, cut-to-length material, and related reinforcing products to contractors and construction projects throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, with our cage division servicing customers throughout the East Coast and beyond.

Role Description

Ferrosource Fabricators is seeking an Experienced CDL Class A Driver for a full-time, on-site position based in Essington, PA.

The driver will be responsible for safely transporting fabricated rebar, reinforcing steel, rebar cages, and related materials from our facility to construction sites and customer locations throughout our service area.

Daily responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, properly securing loads, verifying delivery paperwork and bills of lading, and coordinating with our production and shipping teams to ensure deliveries are completed safely and on schedule.

Drivers must follow all DOT regulations, load-securement requirements, and company safety procedures at all times. This position requires someone who is dependable, professional, safety-conscious, and comfortable working around active construction sites and heavy steel products.

Qualifications

* Valid CDL Class A drivers license

* Strong and safe commercial driving record

* Experience operating flatbed trucks and trailers

* Knowledge of proper load securement, including chains, binders, straps, and other equipment used for steel loads

* Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle requirements

* Ability to perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

* Strong communication, time-management, and route-planning skills

* Reliable attendance and ability to work with changing construction delivery schedules

* Ability to accurately maintain delivery paperwork, logs, and bills of lading

* Comfortable working around heavy steel, forklifts, cranes, and active construction environments

* Prior experience hauling rebar, structural steel, fabricated steel, or other heavy construction materials is strongly preferred
