Position Overview Middle School Teachers will deliver rigorous, engaging, standards‑based instruction while supporting scholars through effective classroom management, academic growth, positive behaviour development, and foundational college and career readiness skills. Key Responsibilities Deliver high‑quality instruction aligned to state standards Use data to drive instruction and student growth Create a positive, structured classroom culture Differentiate instruction for diverse learners Collaborate with grade‑level and instructional teams Communicate regularly with families Support school‑wide initiatives and student success programmes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field Valid North Carolina Teaching Licence (or eligibility for licensure) Minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience (preferred/required, based on your hiring standard) Experience in middle school grades preferred Strong classroom management and instructional delivery skills Demonstrated commitment to student achievement, equity, and culturally responsive teaching practices Ability to analyse data and use it to drive instructional decisions Strong collaboration, communication, and team engagement skills Why Join CGW?
