Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

Volt is immediately hiring for 2nd Shift - Maintenance Technician – in Rogers, Minnesota.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on plastic extrusion lines and auxiliary equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment problems
• Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V 3 phase
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
• Diagnose electrical circuits and PLC components
• Repair and replace components on dryers, crystallizers, extruders and winders
• Use hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools to complete repairs
• Maintain detailed maintenance records
• Fabricate repair parts and machine guarding as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Manufacturing maintenance experience required
• Electrical experience, including 480V 3 phase, strongly preferred
• Candidates without 480V 3 phase experience must be willing to complete company paid electrical training
• Building or apartment maintenance experience alone will not qualify
• High school diploma preferred
• 3 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred
• Hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Salary Range: $28.00/hr – 35.00/hr

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
