Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced inpatient hospital pharmacist to provide critical support at a 60-bed facility. This travel assignment spans from September 26th to October 15th, with a training week beginning September 21st. The facility maintains an average daily census of 15-30 patients, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Schedule and Hours:

• Training week: September 21st
• September 26-27: On-call coverage
• September 28 – October 2: 8am-4pm shifts plus on-call after shift
• October 5-8: 8am-4pm shifts plus on-call after shift
• October 12-15: 8am-4pm shifts plus on-call after shift
• Weekends: Remote on-call work, answering questions and verifying orders as needed

Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient pharmacy services, including order verification and clinical support
• Respond promptly to on-call requests, ensuring continuity of pharmaceutical care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication management for hospitalized patients
• Maintain compliance with hospital and pharmacy policies, as well as regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Current, clear, and active South Carolina pharmacist license
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
