Working Operations Manager- Night Shift

Operations ManagerFoxTrot Aviation Services is seeking a consistently hard-working 3rd Shift working Operations Manager based at St. Louis Lambert International Airport who is committed to reliable quality service, cost management, and building a rock steady team.Shift Scheduled 8:30 pm -4:30 am. End time does fluctuate due to aircrafts availability, cancelations and delays.1-3 years management or supervisory experience preferred, be willing to perform very physical work, and have open schedule availability.The role is responsible for reliable quality service for our customers (75% cleaning work/25% office work). This means leading cleanings on a daily basis to successful customer sign off and FoxTrot standards.Lead cabin cleanings to a very high level of detail in the cockpit, galley, lavatory, and passenger seating area, through deep detailing of the aircraft that requires spending lengthy, focused time on one plane at a timeUtilize software and tracking systems to ensure all cabin cleanings on available aircraft are captured nightly.Perform shroud (toilet coverings) cleaning as part of the cabin service. Coordinate a team nightly to ensure appropriate staffing levels to execute both cabin and shroud cleanings safety and efficiently.Coordinate with maintenance nightly to ensure shroud services are captured on all available aircraft.Handle all shrouds with care, recognizing they are plastic and crack easily; avoid any excessive force or pressure during removal and, cleaning.Ensuring quality control by performing cabin walks on every aircraft to the checklist standardAudit aircraft cleanings 1-2 per week using Foxtrot's auditing softwareOrganizing the team to maximize each labor hours and clean most effectivelyAs the work is going on, ensure safety is upheld to the highest standardsSuccess metric is high cabin scores and high internal and external quality audit scoresMaintain Cost Metrics and Paperwork to ensure profitability and complianceEnsure a weekly and monthly staff schedule (from 5 to 15 team members) which aligns with FoxTrot labor metrics (training will be provided)Ensure the team has enough hours at work to retain themKeep full records of badging complaint with airport rulesFill out HIT forms as hazards are identifiedComplete online forms and upload signed do lists throughout the nightTake stock inventory and place orders with the logistics managerSuccess metric is twofold:1. 100% closeout form, checklist, and debrief form compliance2. Labor metric adherence within tolerances on the pulse sheetBuild a rock steady team, with strong communication and collaboration with the home office.Maintain positive, daily communication with the teamSet elevation goals (development plans) for each team member with the help of leadership.Train team members in quality work, checklist use, and safetyWork with the back office to post ads, then interview and hire team members based on our 5 values of GRIT, Solidarity, Client Focus, Safety, and Accountability. Work with the back office to ensure timely badging and onboardingComplete disciplinary forms to document employeesAdvocate for raises for quality team membersHelps other teams and drives to other locations to ensure network wide strengthMaintains the company vehicle if necessaryUses Ramp to upload receipts for expenses generated through the monthSuccess metric is less than 35% annual full time turnover at the locationThe Operations Manager reports to the Senior Operations Manager.
