IMMEDIATE OPENING

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PD Nurse to join our growing PD clinic in Lawrenceville, GA. As a PD Nurse, you will play an important role in assessing patient home dialysis needs, administering treatments, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort.

Duties

• Perform ongoing, systematic review and analysis of dialysis data for Home Therapy patients and documents in the patient medical record, adjusts or modifies the treatment plan as indicated and notify Supervisor or Physician as needed.
• Train Home Dialysis patients and / or Home Partners on the safe and effective operation and maintenance of Home Dialysis equipment and treatment supplies
• Assess and manage patients' response to home dialysis training and treatment therapy by following prescribed predetermined protocols. Communicates patient related issues to the physician as needed.
• Administer medications as prescribed or in accordance with approved algorithm(s), and documents appropriate medical justification and effectiveness.
• Ensures correct patient laboratory collection, processing and shipping procedures are performed.
• Follows all safety protocols and infection control procedures to safeguard patient health and prevent the spread of illness.
• Stay current with advances in nursing practices, medical terminology, and physiology knowledge through ongoing professional development

Salary range starting at $100,000. Salary negatable with experience.
