CNA – MED SURG / ER

Schedule

Shifts may vary, with possibility of floating between Med Surg and ER. Expect a mix of responsibilities depending on patient needs.

Assignment Details

ASAP start date. No mileage restrictions. Staffing typically includes 2 nurses, 1 aid, and 1 staff secretary on the floor.

Requirements

• Kansas Nurse Aide Registry (KDADS)
• BLS certification via AHA
• Previous travel experience preferred, but first-time travelers may be considered
• Less than 3 years of experience may be accepted
• EMR system: Athena
• No set scrub colors
• Covid vaccine exemptions accepted; flu vaccination is not required

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in patient care and daily activities
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the nursing staff
• Provide support to patients in a timely manner
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe patient environment
• Perform basic medical tasks as directed by nursing staff
