Description

• Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and create personalized treatment strategies
• Administer therapeutic interventions targeting mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work alongside nursing staff, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes
• Instruct patients and families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and home exercise programs
• Keep detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress following regulatory and facility standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and meetings to ensure seamless patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is advantageous
• Specialty certifications (such as neurological or geriatric) are a plus but not obligatory

Skills

• Prior experience is highly preferred
