What You'll DoIn our Customer Care area, the Relationship Manager develops deep relationships with advisors, plan sponsors, and third-party administrators that are in our 10M - 200M market space in the South Central Region (Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas).This role is the strategic partner to our clients and advisors to provide creative solutions that meet business goals of retention, growth, and retirement readiness to name a few.Here are a few examples of the kinds of things you’ll do:Collaborate with the plan sponsor and the advisor on plan design, investments, retirement readiness, services and new opportunities.Plan level health reviews.Problem solving complex issues.Operating at the intersection of financial services and technology, Principal builds financial tools that help our customers live better lives. Our mission, integrity, and customer focus have made us a trusted leader for more than 140 years!Who You AreBachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent experience required4+ years retirement industry experienceMust become an associated person of Principal Securities, IncQualified Plan knowledge strongly preferred (Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution)Excellent demonstrated leadership, negotiation, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills required, as well as superior interpersonal, analytical, and oral and written communication skillsMust be assertive and entrepreneurialTravel required (25 - 30%), mostly day travel but there will be some overnight travel, as well.Licensing will be required based on state/federal laws and/or company policy in accordance with current licensing policy. The below licenses are required within 5 months of employment (strong preference for fully licensed):FINRA Series 6 or 7FINRA Series 63Life & HealthSalary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Candidates will be evaluated to determine the appropriate job level based on their skills and experience.Relationship Manager II: $84,600 – $139,700/ yearRelationship Manager III: $104,400 – $171,600 / year Time Off ProgramFlexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
