P/T Program Leader

After School Program Aide General Purpose: Performs a variety of administrative and semi-skilled tasks in the operation and maintenance of the After School Program. Supervision Received: Works under the direct supervision of a Recreation Specialist who oversees the ASAP program. Supervision Exercised: May direct some activities of ASAP program aides. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Will lead 5-12 year olds in recreation setting, manage behavior problems, assist with activities and enforce policies and procedures. Assistance with Gameroom and Special Events may be necessary during peak times. Desired Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience: Course work in Elementary Education, first aid and CPR certificates desirable. Work experience with 5-12 year olds in a recreational setting a plus. Special Requirements: CDL Driver License is REQUIRED.
