Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift
Location: Not specified
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts with weekends as needed. Schedule flexibility is essential.
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide inpatient respiratory care in a variety of settings, including NICU, PICU, Adult ICU, and general units for both adults and pediatrics. The RRT will collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory therapies and medications as prescribed.
- Conduct assessments and monitor patient progress.
- Document all care provided accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); CRT will not be accepted.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of inpatient experience in a hospital setting required.
- Epic experience within the past 2 years is non-negotiable.
- Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
