Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiation Therapy required. Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy preferred.

• ARRT-T (Radiation Therapy) certification required or preferred where specified by client.

• Valid Radiation Therapist state license as required for Massachusetts.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

• Minimum of 1+ year of continuous clinical experience in radiation therapy required.

• Proficiency with Radiation Oncology Information Systems and hospital systems that integrate with radiation oncology, including but not limited to ARIA, EPIC, ExacTrac, and Eclipse.

• Demonstrated ability to operate and troubleshoot radiation therapy equipment and tools.

• Ability to establish professional relationships with physicians, staff, patients, and families and to handle sensitive and confidential patient information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy preferred.

• ARRT-T certification preferred if not listed as required above.

• Prior experience in a hospital-based radiation oncology department preferred.

• Shift hours: 07:30 to 18:30.

Impacting Patient Care

As a Radiation Therapist you will operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment, verify treatment plans and dosages with the oncology team, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and document treatments and patient records. You will use clinical judgment and communication skills to provide safe, patient-centered care.
