This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Radiologic Technologist who enjoys working independently, providing mobile diagnostic services, and supporting patients in nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other clinical settings.
The client may assist qualified candidates with maintaining or obtaining the required state licensure before starting employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and process X-rays using portable Digital Radiography (DR) or Computed Radiography (CR) equipment.
- Transport and set up portable X-ray equipment at nursing homes and other healthcare facilities.
- Obtain high-quality, diagnostically accurate images as ordered by physicians.
- Transmit X-ray images to radiologists for interpretation.
- Perform EKGs when required and transmit results to cardiologists.
- Scan and submit examination-related paperwork and billing documents daily.
- Communicate regularly with dispatch, management, healthcare staff, and clients.
- Maintain and care for the assigned vehicle and portable diagnostic equipment.
- Follow established protocols and maintain professional communication with patients and healthcare teams.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to push and pull portable diagnostic equipment, potentially weighing 50–100 lbs.
- Use of vehicle ramps and pulleys to assist with equipment transportation.
- Ability to move equipment within healthcare facilities and, where applicable, patients' homes.
- Ability to perform physical duties repeatedly throughout the workday, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.
