ER Tech - FT Days
- Gathers patient information for emergency room patients in the functional areas of admissions, discharges, insurance verification and emergency room treatment records.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and exhibit proficiency in patient care and oral communication skills.
- At least one year of experience as a nursing assistance, EMT, monitor tech, or unit secretary, preferably in the area of application.
- Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards under the supervision of an RN.
- Must obtain and maintain a current certificate in AHA CPR.
- Must maintain any other requirements for each specific department.
- Must complete required department competencies and maintain through annual review.
