Mobile Unit & In-Shop Technicians

Excellent 1st & 2nd shift opportunities in Winnebago County for an experienced Mobile Unit mechanic and In-shop Diesel Mechanics. These direct hire opportunities will offer you room for growth and advancement, while working in a great team environment.

Position – Mobile unit & In-Shop Technicians

Job Location – Neenah, WI

Starting Date – ASAP

Employment Term – Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) –1st & 2nd Shift

Starting Pay –$18 to $28 per hour + efficiency bonus

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience

Under the supervisor of the Service Center manager or Tractor/Trailer manager, the Mobile Service Technician performs all tractor, trailer mobile repairs, completes replacements, performs diagnostic work, makes best value decisions to continue to operate and performs technical repairs and/or replacement.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of maintenance repairs either as a diesel technician or at least 2 years of industry experience.

• Diagnose and repairs problems

• Perform annual vehicle inspections; perform preventative maintenance and other repairs as necessary.

• Performs safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documents required by DOT, company and any other Federal, State or Local regulations

• Comprehension and completion of the repair orders, inventory forms, PM schedules, repair forecasts.

• Organized and has the ability to deal with multiple activities in a fast paced environment, excellent communication skills, team player and strong work ethic

Qualifications

• A valid Class A license is required with a Clean driving record

• Minimum of two years industry experience.

• Must provide own tools.

• Experience with Batteries and electrical systems, Tire repair & replacement, Foundation brake diagnostics and repair, Steering & suspension diagnostic/repair

• Experience in all aspects of trailer suspension, brakes, and overhead doors required
