NOW HIRING: Full-Time FedEx Delivery Drivers (Non-CDL)

Birmingham, AL/Irondale, AL | $140+ per day + Benefits | Paid Weekly

Sweet Home Express is  urgently hiring motivated individuals to join our team as  Full-Time FedEx Ground Delivery Drivers. If you're dependable, driven, and ready to hit the road—this is the opportunity for you!

PAY & INCENTIVES:

• Starting pay is $130 per day , once driver is on their own, driving by themselves driver will be paid $140 per day with additional $15 attendance and performance incentive available.
• At 90 days driver will be evaluated and manager will determine based off overall job competency and attendance if the driver is eligible for  pay increase to $150 a day with additional $15 incentive
• If pay increase if not given to the driver at 90 day evaluation the driver will be coached and instructed of what needs to be worked on in hopes of attaining the increase in pay.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Non-CDL Position –  NO Commercial License Required
• Deliver to local businesses and residences
• Drive company-provided  step vans and cutaways
• Based out of the  Birmingham FedEx Ground terminal :

SCHEDULE:

• Shifts start at 7:30 AM and end upon route completion (around 5:30 PM)
• Work 5-6 days/week , including  weekends
• Monday and Friday are required
• One weekday off (Tues/Wed/Thurs)

REQUIREMENTS:

• 21+ years old
• 1+ year of driving experience is  PREFERRED  but not required (Uber, DoorDash, Lyft, etc. count!)
• Clean MVR & background check
• Able to  pass drug screening (includes cannabis, Delta 8, and some CBDs)
• Able to lift up to 150 lbs. (with a dolly)
• Strong customer service and time-management skills

*This position is very physically demanding. You will be in and out of the vehicle all day. You will need to be able to lift and maneuver heavy packages.*
