Family Law Paralegal -
Palm Beach Gardens Onsite 

Position Summary
Multi-service law firm, offering a broad range of legal services for over 50 years. Our Palm Beach Gardens branch is currently seeking a Paralegal to support our marital and family law attorneys and our litigation practice area as a whole.

 
What you’ll bring to the table:
To be successful in this role, you’ll be an experienced Microsoft Office 365 user and a friendly, cooperative and positive person. You will need to be an energetic, self-starter who is capable of handling multiple projects and priorities. You must be detail oriented, have excellent grammar, computer, phone and organizational skills. You must have 5+ years’ experience in family law/litigation support and knowledge of Florida courts e-filing processes and requirements.

 
Some details about what you will do:

• You will support multiple attorneys who work in marital & family law and litigation on domestic disputes, complex business, real property, and probate matters.
• You will be able to work independently, handle various tasks from case inception through trial and post-trial procedures, ensuring the attorney has all the necessary materials and support.
• Your responsibilities will include prioritizing, managing and following through on multiple projects while communicating effectively with clients, attorneys, staff and peers with tasks ranging from document drafting to discovery to trial preparation.
• You will be able to demonstrate thorough knowledge of firm and practice-specific processes and procedures.
• You will maintain records regarding billable hours spent on specific matters.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
• Paralegal certificate preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of family law/litigation experience in a law firm.
• Proficient in such programs document management, timekeeping programs, LexisNexis, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

The work-day and benefits:
This full-time position will be accompanied by a competitive benefits package including healthcare and 401k. The hired candidate will enjoy 16 Vacation/PTO days per year and 10 paid holidays. You will work in-office/onsite at our Palm Beach Gardens location with work hours between 8:30-5:30 or 9-6.
