Outpatient Physical Therapist

We are seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. The therapist is responsible for the delegation and direction of therapy services specific to the discipline while ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate an effective return to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on discharging patients within an established length of stay.
• Document medical records clearly, accurately, and timely in compliance with state and federal regulations and clinic policies.
• Participate in student programs, fostering a positive learning environment and providing necessary supervision and evaluations.
• Create and pursue individualized professional development plans to maintain licensure and continue education.
• Adhere to discipline-specific state practice acts and maintain ethical standards in compliance with professional codes of conduct.
• Understand and engage in organizational performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR certification.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in good standing.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 5x8 hours.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
