Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment in Geneva, NY. This role focuses on providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients, primarily within orthopedics, general surgery, and several other specialties in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - OR - Operating Room

• Circulate in orthopedics, general surgery, urology, ENT, GI, spine, ophthalmology, and podiatry service lines
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide direct care, evaluate patient progress, and coordinate care delivery
• Educate patients and families on self-care post-discharge
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention strategies
• Promote patient safety and advocate for patient rights
• Document care provided and patient/family response

Requirements of the RN - OR - Operating Room

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (AHA/RQI)
• NYS RN Licensure
• Minimum 2 years OR circulator experience
• STROKE certification
• Ability to float to units at SSMH/GGH
