As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage badge access, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor entry and exit points at a manufacturing and industrial location; verify credentials, authorize access according to site procedures, and maintain visitor and contractor records. Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Document daily activities, access-related incidents, and irregular conditions in required reports and logs. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
