Family Law Litigation Paralegal

Join our growing family-law firm as a Litigation Paralegal and play an important role in guiding cases from filing through resolution. You will work closely with attorneys to manage deadlines, prepare legal documents, organize discovery, communicate with clients, and prepare cases for hearings, mediation, and trial. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in Florida family-law litigation.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, discovery, mandatory disclosures, correspondence, notices, and proposed orders for attorney review.
• Track court, discovery, mediation, and internal deadlines with no preventable lapses.
• Prepare hearing, mediation, deposition, and trial binders and exhibits.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors within role boundaries.
• Maintain accurate files, notes, tasks, and calendars in Rocket Matter.
• Coordinate with junior paralegals and attorneys to resolve missing documents and case bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Florida family law experience across the case lifecycle.
• Strong drafting, discovery, calendaring, and trial-preparation skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with accuracy and discretion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
