Sr. Simulation Software Engineer

Salary: $135,200 - 176,800 per year Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in simulation software, integrated test, or a closely related engineering discipline
• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field
• Experience building for commercial hardware-in-the-loop platforms such as NI or dSPACE
• Strong proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and Python
• Experience creating models of physical systems from engineering specifications
• Experience developing real-time software for hardware-in-the-loop simulators
• Working knowledge of communication protocols including RS 422/485, CAN/CAN FD, ARINC 429, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and USB
• Experience designing graphical user interfaces based on user needs and feedback
• Experience using software development and configuration management tools such as Git, Bitbucket, SVN, Jenkins, TeamCity, Artifactory, and Jira
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams
• 5 years of simulation software experience
• Ability to work in person in San Jose, CA 95134
• Ability to determine whether sponsorship or visa support is required

• Develop and maintain high-fidelity aircraft simulation environments
• Integrate aircraft hardware and simulation models into real-time hardware-in-the-loop environments
• Build physical-system simulation models and incorporate them into the broader simulation framework
• Create graphical user interfaces for controlling real-time simulation setups
• Support aircraft validation, verification, and integrated testing activities
• Assist with test plan execution and test automation efforts
• Integrate, instrument, and maintain aircraft hardware within simulation environments
• Maintain software, tools, and configuration baselines across simulation labs
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external suppliers throughout integration and testing
