Senior Program Manager
Hands on Project / Program manager with 15+ years of experience in Supply Chain project delivery Supply Chain / Logistics network and routing
Senior Program Manager is responsible for overseeing program management, change management, and ensuring successful project delivery by applying agile methodologies. They will play a crucial role in leading and guiding project teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring projects are completed within scope, budget, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a scrum master for agile teams, facilitating scrum processes, removing impediments, and fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
- Manage and lead project teams in the successful delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to drive adoption and support for project related changes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct regular meetings with project teams to ensure alignment and progress towards project objectives.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between cross functional teams.
Skill Requirements
- Proficiency in scrum methodologies and experience acting as a scrum master.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on change management techniques.
- Sound understanding and practical application of agile methodologies in project management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively lead project teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Ability to identify risks and issues early in the project lifecycle and implement mitigation strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex project challenges effectively.
- Certification in project management (e.g., pmp, prince2) and scrum master certification (csm) would be advantageous.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification are preferred.
