Your Role - What Awaits You

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-including but not limited to chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering to established procedures.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and maintain and calibrate lab machinery.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and meticulously prepare samples for testing as required.
• Keep thorough records of all procedures, play a role in training new staff or students, and help maintain the highest lab quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe work area, complying with all regulatory and accreditation stipulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in the allied health fields, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Current certification should be maintained throughout the duration of employment.
