Pay Rate: $69.37/hr on W2

Shifts: Varies - ALL

Experience Required: Minimum 1 Year of Paramedic Experience Required
Note: EMT candidates will not be considered.

Job Summary

The Ambulance Paramedic provides direct patient care within the scope of licensure, established protocols, and physician supervision when required. The Paramedic is responsible for delivering emergency medical care, administering medications, performing patient assessments, documenting patient care accurately, and ensuring ambulance readiness at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care and treatment to patients in pre-hospital settings.
• Perform accurate and complete population-specific patient assessments.
• Establish care priorities and render appropriate emergency treatment.
• Administer emergency medications in accordance with Wyoming State Scope of Practice regulations for Paramedics.
• Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and transport details using the WATRS reporting system.
• Ensure ambulances and station areas are clean, fully stocked, and ready for service at all times.
• Assist with patient care in other hospital departments under the direction of physicians and RNs, within the Paramedic scope of practice.
• Effectively prioritize tasks and manage time, personnel, and resources to meet department standards and goals.
• Maintain compliance with all state regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Active Paramedic  certification/license & BLS.
• Minimum 1 year of Paramedic experience required.
• Strong emergency response and patient assessment skills.
• Knowledge of emergency medications and treatment protocols.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
