Labor and Delivery Nurse in the Kansas region. This role involves providing specialized care in a high-risk labor and delivery unit, supporting patients across various obstetric needs including high-risk conditions and C-section procedures. Ideal candidates will have a strong obstetric skill set and be prepared to work night shifts in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Location: TOPEKA, Kansas
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Kansas or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, 0 years of experience minimum, BLS (Basic Life Support), AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications, 2 years of experience preferred in labor and delivery, high-risk obstetric care, C-sections, external fetal monitoring, and neonatal assessments.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with electronic medical record systems such as Epic, community hospital experience, and neonatal intensive care knowledge.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include assisting with high-risk deliveries, assisting with high-volume obstetric procedures, providing postpartum and neonatal care, and supporting fetal monitoring. The role involves floating within related units as needed, brief orientation, and working in a specialized high-acuity environment focused on obstetric and neonatal patients.
