About This Role
Good Shepherd Montessori School is seeking a trustworthy and experienced child care professional with Montessori background to join their team on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with the Guides in the classroom, ensuring the students' safety and well-being. A key responsibility will be to maintain visual and auditory supervision of the students at all times. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with children in the classroom and on the playground, while upholding a professional demeanor. Additionally, the candidate must meet all Washington state requirements. Interested applicants are invited to submit a cover letter and resume.
What You'll DoAssist with the care of students, classroom, and playground. Responsibilities may also include performing dishes and laundry.
RequirementsHigh School diploma, Portable Background Check, STARS I.D, Childcare 30 hour basics class, Washington state Food Handlers, High school diploma, CPR/first aid, immunizations- Hep B, MMR, TB test, Minimum age 18.
Nice To HavesA Montessori assistant training or Catechesis of the Good Shepherd level 1 training would be a valuable asset.
