Job title: Front Desk
Position: Part-time, hourly
Reports to: Club Manager
Help every member and guest feel welcome at Retro Fitness. You will manage check-ins, answer questions, support member accounts, and keep the front desk organized while helping members connect with club services.
What you will ownMember service. Greet members and guests, manage check-ins, answer phones, and provide accurate information about memberships, classes, and club services.
Account accuracy. Process authorized payments and account updates, verify account information, and document member requests. Maintain confidentiality and escalate concerns that require management approval.
Sales support. Assist with membership inquiries, referrals, upgrades, and Welcome Workout bookings. Promote approved retail and service offerings and connect members with the sales or fitness team.
Front desk operations. Keep the desk organized and attended, complete shift checklists, and communicate important issues during handoffs. Follow payment, guest registration, and account procedures.
Cleanliness and safety. Keep the lobby and assigned areas clean and stocked. Complete assigned checks and report hazards, equipment issues, and member incidents promptly.
What we are looking for- Friendly communication, dependable attendance, and a willingness to help members and teammates.
- Customer service experience preferred; candidates seeking their first job are welcome to apply.
- High school diploma or GED completed or in progress. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn membership and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to multitask, handle account information carefully, and stand or perform routine cleaning and stocking tasks, with reasonable accommodation as applicable.
Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the opening. Assigned shifts: [insert days and hours]. Position status: [full-time or part-time]. Consistent attendance and clear communication about availability are required.
