Escrow Assistant

Escrow Assistant - 1099
The goal of the group is to limit the number of 1099 Exceptions, Errors, and Rejections for the operations. This position primarily reviews the 1099 reports for files with missing or incorrect 1099 information, locates the missing details to correct the production systems. This would include revising the production systems and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Research missing 1099 required information to complete required fields in the Production System.
- Confirming Seller specific information to ensure accurate Internal Revenue Service (IRS) reporting.
- Ability to review and understand documentation of Trust, Estates, LLC, Corporations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Minimum Requirements
• High School Diploma or Associates Degree • Two years minimum of Assistant Escrow Closing experience
Preferred Experience
- Commercial Escrow closing experience
- Escrow Accounting requirements
- Competency with computing systems or ability to learn many operating systems and proprietary computer programs.
- Work independently
