Follow facility's established policyConsult with the resident's physician in providing the resident's care, treatment, rehabilitation, etc. as necessaryReview the resident's chart for specific treatments, medication orders, diets, etc. as necessaryEnsure that adequate medical supplies, equipment, etc., are maintained on unit/shift at all times to meet the needs of the residentsParticipate in the development and implementation of the procedures for the safe operation of all nursing service equipmentQualifications:Unencumbered LPN license or eligible to sit for boards in the state of Virginia requiredBLS, preferredExperience in a long-term care/nursing facility, preferredThis position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day.
