Qualifications and Required Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in speech-language pathology, speech-language and hearing sciences, communication sciences and disorders, or a closely related discipline
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology practice in Florida
• Previous experience in a K-12 school setting is preferred, but those with strong clinical backgrounds and a passion for working with children are encouraged to apply
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, educators, and families
• Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads, assessments, and documentation
• Ability to create engaging, individualized therapeutic plans and foster a supportive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique requirements
• Provide direct therapy services to students in both small group and one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other support staff to integrate speech/language goals within the classroom
• Maintain accurate, timely records of student progress and provide feedback to parents and colleagues
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team planning, and professional development opportunities
