Hourly base rate: $21.14 - $26.89 Shift: Days Shift Hours Per Week: 36 hours/week, 12-hour shifts SEIU Local 49 represented position Overview Job summary and essential duties for a facility role focused on patient monitoring and communication within the telemetry and cardiac monitoring environment. Responsibilities Communicate clearly: verbally, in writing, on the telephone and via the patient call system. Simultaneous observation and evaluation of real time cardiac monitors and telemetry monitors. Use computers. Examine heartbeat patterns on electrocardiograph monitors. Note irregular rhythms and monitor changes in heartbeat. Ensure that monitors are functioning properly. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred and at least 1 year of experience in the field.
