Clinical Child and Pediatric Psychologist, Department of Pediatrics Help us grow our team to improve access to behavioral health services! The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia School of Medicine is seeking a full‑time clinical track faculty psychologist in Pediatric Psychology and Behavioral Health to provide clinical services and education in our new outpatient Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Health clinic. The focus of this position will be providing general child and adolescent mental health services. The clinic serves all children regardless of insurance status and language preference. Responsibilities Outpatient mental and behavioral health assessment and intervention for children and adolescents with a wide range of presenting concerns. Consultation to medical and interprofessional teams. Teaching medical fellows, residents, and medical students. Participation on departmental and health system committees. Qualifications Candidates must possess a PhD or PsyD, or equivalent from an APA‑accredited program, have completed an APA‑accredited internship, be licensed or license‑eligible in Virginia, and be skilled in interprofessional practice in a complex, academic medical environment. The new faculty member will be expected to obtain board certification through the American Board of Professional Psychology once eligible.
