You will be contacted directly by the facility after applying to this position. HCA Healthcare is seeking to recruit a neonatologist for a long-standing private group practice based in the South Texas community of Brownsville. About the Practice:

• Practice has served the South Texas/Brownsville market for 35 years.
• Physicians typically work from 7 am - 5 pm (shorter shifts when working weekends)
• 3 or 4 calls from home per week of service (3 calls one week, 4 calls the following week), the practice covers 2 weeks on / one week completely off, with call including both hospitals, with 24/7 NNP in house coverage at both facilities.
• The practice covers two Level 3 NICU's and their respective routine nurseries. Equal time is spent at both facilities (3 days at one, 4 days at the other) per week.
• Average deliveries combined is about 4,000 per year.
• Typical NICU census is 10 at Valley Regional, 12 at Valley Baptist
• Benefits include health, dental, 401K, Profit sharing, malpractice, and one week of time off every 3rd week.
