Re‑assess treatment effectiveness, attend staffing meetings, and participate in family conferences. Conduct discharge evaluations and recommend home/community safety measures. Communicate patient progress to the treatment team, physicians, and families. Coordinate care with other disciplines to enhance patient outcomes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Current, unrestricted PT license in state of practice. Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification. Minimum of one year of clinical PT experience preferred. Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injury. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds; transfer patients up to 100 pounds following safety procedures. Strong fine‑motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk/stand for extended periods. Physical stamina for pushing/pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently. Health screening may be required before assignment and periodically thereafter.
