Position Summary The position is intended to serve as a critical liaison between Large Power Solutions (LPS) and the broader organization, with responsibility for helping lead and execute the department’s Strategic Roadmap. This includes monitoring initiative progress and leading execution efforts that span multiple departments and functional areas. Success in this role requires leadership through influence, the ability to navigate cross-functional barriers and drive momentum across complex initiatives. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Document, evaluate, and map Large Power Solutions workflows and procedures; recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, service quality, customer experience and internal controls across industrial account management and new business functions. Facilitate execution of the Large Power Solutions strategic roadmap by leading cross-functional coordination efforts, supporting strategic planning activities, monitoring initiative performance, and implementing project management and governance practices that advance departmental and organizational priorities. Develop and execute customer and stakeholder communication and engagement plans for department initiatives leveraging communication best practices to ensure messaging is clear, timely, accurate and aligned to the deployment of new services, products, policies, and processes. Assist in the development, review, and refinement of department policies by facilitating collaboration with SME, drafting and maintaining supporting documentation, coordinating stakeholder feedback, and ensuring alignment and consistency across the organization. Serve as a liaison between Large Power Solutions and internal departments, including but not limited to: Power Delivery Engineering, Construction & Maintenance, Transmission Planning, Load Forecasting, Energy Supply Management, Project Management etc. for the coordination of Large Power Solutions initiatives and district strategic objectives that span cross-functionally. Triage complex and/or non-standard customer requests that require extensive cross functional coordination to ensure timely and effective resolution. Develop, implement, and maintain organized systems for departmental documents and records ensuring accuracy, accessibility and compliance with records management standards. Support strategic and operational execution for the Senior Manager of Large Power Solutions by coordinating meeting objectives, preparing decision-support materials, tracking action items, and ensuring follow-through on departmental priorities. Manage the departments programs and products, including but not limited to customer load management program, growth management strategies, contract renewals and contract management. Perform moderately complex business, financial, operational, or data analysis to support departmental objectives, planning activities, and decision-making. Independently collect, validate, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources; identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, performance metrics, and analytical models using established tools and methodologies. Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate the delivery of power for large power applications, including but not limited to the following lifecycle milestones: initial inquiry, transmission and distribution studies, project planning, facility construction agreement development, engineering design, construction, and energization. Exercise strategic thinking to improve processes and implement policies and procedures related to the New Large Load Connection process. Inform prospective industrial customers and external stakeholders about the utility's service connection processes, rate schedules, and power delivery timelines. Develop customer capacity reservation agreements in collaboration with legal; collaborate with product development to develop products and services for industrial and large key customers. Maintain a positive relationship with large power customers by understanding their business, electric energy usage, systems, equipment, expansion plans associated with large power service applications. Facilitate customer understanding of industry issues, rates, pending legislation that may impact any aspect of their large service applications. Utilize strong communication, documentation, project, and program management skills to lead and maintain departments programs ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries and maintaining high standards of customer service to deliver great customer experience. Reporting any safety incidents or close calls within 24 hours to your supervisor; and Accepting feedback from supervisors and coworkers regarding your own safety performance. Required Qualifications (Education, Experience, Licenses & Certifications) Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Project Management, Marketing, Energy Management, Planning or 2 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. Five (5) years’ progressive experience in project management, customer service, delivery, marketing, and/or management. Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, Licenses & Certifications) Experience in a public utility, government, or regulated industry environment. Experience supporting initiatives in project management, program management, capital and/or O&M planning, budgeting, compliance, or operational performance initiatives. Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of Concepts, principles, theories, and methods surrounding large customer care; sales and account management methods to provide outstanding customer service; project management tools and techniques; financial competences with an attention toward detail; contract and service negotiation and follow up; energy regulations and efficiency. Skill in technical experience in Distribution and Transmission services; project management; written and oral interpersonal communication; identifying and analyzing potential problems; utilizing MS office products; customized financial, billing, and customer service software, tools, and applications. Physical Requirements Position may be eligible for hybrid work arrangement: Majority of work is performed in a standard office setting.
