GTM Engineer

We’re a category-leading company in a market most software talent has never worked in: a real, physical, multi-billion-dollar industry where the people who run it know their business cold, and the software needs to keep up. The work has tangible impact on how things actually get built. The role We’re hiring a GTM Engineer with a bigger canvas than the title usually implies. You’ll start where most GTM Engineers do: shipping the AI-powered tools that make our Sales, CS, and Marketing teams faster. From there, you’ll own the shared AI platform underneath them: the layer every team at RapidWorks plugs into. You’ll be the single owner of how AI gets built, deployed, and used across the company. You’ll own each tool end-to-end: from the data pipelines underneath, through the prompts and evaluations, to adoption and impact measurement. This is a builder role, not an architect role. We need someone who ships v1 fast, not someone who plans next quarter. What you’ll do Build and ship internal AI tools that solve real problems for Sales, CS, Marketing, and beyond. Own each one from scoping through production through ongoing iteration. Set up the foundations underneath: data pipelines, retrieval, evaluation, observability, and security. Pick the right level of investment for each piece. Make deliberate model and tool choices. Match the right LLM, the right framework, and the right integration approach to each task based on cost, latency, and quality. Drive adoption. Translate department pain points into a backlog. Write playbooks, run enablement sessions, and stay close to your users until your tools are part of how they work. Measure impact. Define KPIs that matter to the business and report on them regularly to leadership. What you’ll bring If you’re earlier in your career than the typical “AI Engineer” market positions for but you’ve been building, shipping, and obsessed with this technology, we want to talk. Builder fundamentals. Comfortable in Python and SQL. You can build the plumbing that connects systems and feeds AI tools, end to end. Real integration experience. You’ve shipped production integrations to third-party APIs, with the right level of access and security for each one. Working with LLMs. You’ve built systems on top of LLMs and you know how to make them reliable. You’ve debugged a system that gave the wrong answer and figured out why. B2B SaaS fluency. You can read a Salesforce or HubSpot schema and know which objects matter. You’ve seen a pipeline, a renewal motion, and a support queue from the inside. GTM and CS workflow instinct. You know what a CSM, an AE, a BDR, and a Support engineer actually do all day. You enjoy demoing your work and turning skeptics into users. Right tool for the job. You don’t reach for the most sophisticated solution when a simpler one works. You know when complexity is earned and when it’s overkill. Who you are High motor. You move fast, ship often, and finish what you start. Strong opinions, loosely held. You’ll argue for a design. You’ll change your mind when the evidence does. Self-directed. You write your own backlog from observation and conversation. Low ego. The CSM who asks “can it also do X?” is your customer, not an interruption. Curiosity-driven. You’re already reading whatever just dropped in AI.
