In this vital role, you will provide personalized care, support daily activities, and promote independence while ensuring safety and comfort. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately in care plans Administer medications following HIPAA guidelines and prescribed schedules to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when required Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and sanitation practices in accordance with health standards Support residents’ emotional well-being through companionship, engaging activities, and social interaction Follow detailed care plans designed by nursing or healthcare professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality care Requirements Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with elderly or disabled populations Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Certifications in first aid, CPR, and basic nursing skills; additional training in medication administration preferred Ability to lift heavy objects safely Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in condition or behavior Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and family members Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to caregiving that promotes dignity and independence Join us in providing exceptional elderly care that truly transforms lives!
