PT Assistant

Position Summary We are hiring a PT Assistant at MercyOne Genesis, located in the Quad Cities region and affiliated with the MercyOne Health System. Employment Type Part time Shift Day shift Responsibilities Provide treatment to patients within the Genesis Health System in a caring, professional, and efficient manner – settings may include inpatient, outpatient, long‑term, home healthcare, and/or outreach services. Provide treatment independently according to State practice guidelines. Assist the therapist in reassessment. Complete necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Supervise clinical interns in an effective and professional manner with guidance and assistance from the supervising physical therapist. Schedule 20 hours a week Day shift Requirements Graduated from a 2‑year college program or equivalent experience. Iowa state license – if licensed in another state, must obtain licensure within one year. No experience required. Basic Life Support certification within six months of hire.
