Pulmonology Physician

We are a large physician-owned group expanding in the Hartford, CT area. As part of our Respiratory Program, we are seeking a pulmonologist to join our team consulting, overseeing NPs providing consults, with profit-sharing opportunities. We offer generous compensation, flexible scheduling, and no on-call requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide biweekly pulmonary consults to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Connecticut license
• Board Eligible/Certified in Pulmonology
• Active DEA license
• Minimum 1 year of Pulmonology experience
• Experience working with respiratory patients in an acute or post-acute setting.
• Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills

Scheduling Options:

• Full-Time 30-40 hours per week
• Part-Time 10- 20 hours per week

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirement.
• Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
