The ideal candidate will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our rheumatology practice and deliver exceptional patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist rheumatologists with patient examinations and procedures.Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs, medical histories, and documenting symptoms.Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.Perform routine laboratory tests and assist with specimen collection.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems.Schedule patient appointments and manage clinical workflow.Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.QualificationsCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.Previous experience in a rheumatology or specialty medical practice is a plus.Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) systems.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional medical training preferred.Work ScheduleThis is a full-time position based in Brighton, MI, with standard office hours.
