Senior Auditor
Remote in Ohio
Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight of audit engagements, tailoring and finalizing audit programs based on risk assessments
- Oversee preparation of financial statements, including drafting and reviewing footnote disclosures
- Review audit testing across all engagement areas completed by team members to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Communicate directly with clients to address accounting and auditing questions and provide practical solutions
- Coordinate with the tax team regarding potential impacts of audit adjustments on tax filings and projections
- Monitor engagement progress, budgets, and timelines while communicating updates to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Active CPA license
- 4+ years of public accounting experience
- Experience overseeing audit engagements and managing project workflows
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting requirements
