Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility, which offers a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured yet fulfilling work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care by thoroughly assessing each patient's unique goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a reasonable patient caseload to ensure quality attention and thorough follow-up for each client.
• Apply your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, drawing on previous experience to inform treatment decisions and approaches.
• Implement effective, cost-efficient treatment modalities designed to improve patients' movement and functional abilities.
• Promote non-surgical treatment options, reducing dependency on pain medications through evidence-based interventions.
• Develop detailed and personalized care plans that incorporate a variety of rehabilitative techniques and modalities.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs that address patients' specific health objectives and capabilities.
• Inspire and motivate patients to remain engaged and committed to their rehabilitation journey.
• Encourage lifestyle changes that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate effective care across disciplines.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to patient care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans using EMR systems, particularly Web PT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We welcome a diverse patient population, including athletes, seniors, and individuals at various stages of injury recovery. Our focus on personalized care enables us to cater to the specific rehabilitation needs of each patient, ensuring an optimal recovery experience.

Qualifications

• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Hold an active Physical Therapist license in California, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Showcase strong competency in multiple manual therapy techniques and therapeutic interventions.
• Exhibit a proven track record of developing and implementing successful exercise and rehabilitation programs.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using electronic medical records software, especially Web PT, for meticulous documentation.
• Keep abreast of current trends and evidence-based practices within the physical therapy field.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient setting, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
