Unitex is experiencing unprecedented growth! Due to this growth, we are in search of a Scale Attendant to manage/handle linen at one of our prestigious client locations in New Haven, CT.

Schedule : 4 days per week, Thursday - Sunday. 7:00am-6:00pm. Must have weekend availability.


Compensation: $17.00 - 20.00 /hour. The salary range for this position is $17.00/hour to $20.00/hour. Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors

Duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Collection and distribution of linen
• Counting, recording, and inventorying merchandise
• Preparing and organizing pack-out carts/baskets for distribution
• Weigh incoming and outgoing carts/baskets
• Building carts and baskets as needed

Required Skills:

• MUST have flexibility to work various hours (mornings, evenings, weekends) totaling 40 hours per week
• Must be able to lift loads of linen and push carts filled with linen (50+lbs)
• Responsive in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
• Superior communication/customer relations skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Experience in a service/operations environment a +
