As an AP Accounting Specialist, your primary duties will be to handle the Accounts Payable and Concur/P Card functions for one or more of the Ovivo USA, LLC and Ovivo Canada Inc. entities, and act as back-up for the same.

The role is based in either our Chatsworth or Round Rock Office and we enjoy a hybrid work model. While most of your time will be spent in the office, you will be equipped to work between the office and remotely.

What is the role?

• Create/maintain vendor records; ensure the proper documentation is kept on file.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Shipping/Receiving, and others within the organization to obtain proper approvals prior to vouching or paying vendor invoices.
• Code, vouch, post, and pay vendor and/or intercompany invoices.
• Ensure all documents relating to #3 are scanned and verified.
• Research and analyse problems and follow up on any related inquiries.
• Reconcile AP accounts to the sub-ledger on a quarterly basis.
• Enter and reconcile Concur/company credit card transactions, as assigned.
• Duties may include handling inter-company transactions (ICPOs & bill backs).
• Distribute departmental mail on assigned days.
• Provide audit-related information, as needed.
• Handle or assist with sales-tax related filings for Ovivo USA, LLC (this is done after the close or each calendar year).
• Other duties as assigned.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Does this sound like you?

• Minimum of two years accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree from a college or university preferred; however, experience and skills will be considered.
• Experience with Concur or equivalent software preferred.
